Sifa is a peer recognition and rewards platform. With the Sifa app for Slack, your team gives each other recognition and points with /sifa, sees every win posted in your channels, celebrates birthdays and work anniversaries, and checks their points. Points are spent on rewards in the Sifa web app.

One admin installs Sifa for the whole Slack workspace. After that, anyone with a Sifa account can recognise teammates from any channel.
Recognitions and celebrations are posted to the channels your admin picks, so wins are seen by the whole team.
Sifa matches each Slack user to their Sifa account by email. Nobody has to link anything by hand.
Recognition given in Slack shows in the Sifa feed, and emoji reactions and replies in Slack sync back to it.
Installing links Slack to a Sifa workspace, so the Add to Slack button shows once you're signed in. No account yet? Create one free and you become the admin of a new workspace.
Use the button on this page, or go to Admin β Integrations β Slack inside Sifa. Both open the same Slack approval screen.
Choose your Slack workspace and click Allow. Slack sends you back to Sifa with the integration connected.
On the Slack integration page in Sifa, pick the channels Sifa posts to. Sifa can join public channels for you; for a private channel, type /invite @Sifa in it.
Teammates whose Slack email matches their Sifa email can use /sifa straight away. Anyone recognised in Slack who isn't on Sifa yet is added to your workspace automatically and can claim their account.
Sifa links your Slack workspace to your Sifa workspace, so we need to know which one is yours. Sign in as a Sifa admin and the Add to Slack button appears right here. New to Sifa? Creating a free account makes you the admin of a new workspace.
Already signed in on another tab? Admins can also install from Admin β Integrations β Slack

π Welcome to Sifa!
Recognize teammates, earn rewards, and stay connected with your company values.
Sifa only posts in the channels your admin chooses, and in direct messages to the people involved.
Whenever someone gives recognition, in Slack or in the Sifa web app, Sifa posts it to your announcement channels and DMs each recipient.
Once a day at 08:00 UTC, Sifa posts a celebration for teammates with a birthday or work anniversary that day.
At the start of each cycle, Sifa announces that everyone's points to give have refreshed.
If your admin schedules a pulse survey, Sifa can DM the question to members who have Slack connected.
Sifa doesn't post when you react or reply. It reads reactions and thread replies on its own posts and shows them in the Sifa feed.
Results of your commands, like "Recognition sent!", your balance or an error, are visible only to you, never the channel.
Some Sifa features use a large language model (LLM) to generate text, such as personalised nudges and the Sifa culture assistant in the web app. AI-generated responses can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, so please check them before you rely on them or share them. AI never awards points or approves rewards on its own.
These are the permissions Slack shows you at install, and why we need each one.
